A BILL to amend and reenact section fifteen-a, article eight, chapter five-a of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to the continuation of the records management and preservation board .

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section fifteen-a, article eight, chapter five-a of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 8. PUBLIC RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND PRESERVATION ACT.

§5A-8-15a. Continuation of board.
The records management and preservation board shall continue to exist, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code,
until the first day of July, two thousand three four, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions of that article.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Records Management and Preservation Board until July 1, 2004, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset Law.
